Nearing the End of the Screen Tools Video Project
Our Screen Tools video project is nearly finished and we must now focus on getting the report typed up for it. I edited the intro for the video which will be a separate section of the final DVD. The intro explains the history of the Irish Animation industry and more specifically the Ballyfermot School of Animation.
The video is just over 10 minutes and and the we have a nice conclusion clip for the end of the documentary.
Starting to Code the Website
I started to code the website and I have the basic layout done, a few buttons that animate when clicked and the user can navigate to several different pages. Linking each page and making sure that I can get to where to need to go was simple but took time to get completely right.
I have neglected to align things properly yet but I will rectify this soon because it was an important part of our Design Practice assignment that I recently submitted.

Final Design Practice Logo
My final Sound State logo for Design Practice. It incorporates the colours of the american state road signs and the shape of a guitar pick. The letter ‘O’ in sound is replaced by a speaker logo.

Authoring Principles – (Testing Things Out)
I had a couple of concerns about how to do key things for the website assignment, but when I sat down and tried things out, I actually got some simple but important things done. This makes the thought of actually sitting down and getting the assignment done less daunting.
Integrated Project (Update)
Our team worked this week and got all the different diagrams and paper work ready for next week’s submission, which included use cases, storyboards and screen shots of the app. We all did PMI’s as well. Here mine below (I don’t do good under pressure).
New Youtube Channel (Not by choice :( )
My old channel got taken down because I use a lot of copyrighted material but I’ve got a new one now and here’s two of my better videos. Feedback is always welcomed.
